Rural Returns’ mission is to economically empower rural Sri Lankan communities by enabling them to earn sustainable, higher profits by connecting them and their products to global markets.

They do this by identifying clear, sustainable market demand for products unique to those communities. They then build or influence existing value chains to help those communities retain a greater share of value chain profits. These value chains ultimately reach consumers paying a fair price that enables rural communities to save and invest in themselves.
